Your Questions, Our Expert Answers — everything you need to know before the hunt.

Do I need previous experience with huskies or snowmobiles?

No prior experience is required. Your guide will give you clear, step-by-step instructions before both activities. The husky safari is shared—one person drives while the other sits comfortably in the sled, and you can switch halfway.

How challenging is the tour and who can join?

The adventure is designed for participants with a normal level of fitness. Driving a husky sled requires some balance and standing, while the snowmobile ride requires focus and safe handling, but both are suitable for beginners. Children can enjoy the tour as sled passengers or on the snowmobile with an adult driver.

What should I bring with me?

We provide warm overalls, boots, gloves, and socks, so you don’t need to worry about heavy outdoor gear. Still, we recommend wearing layered clothing underneath, a warm hat, and wool socks for extra comfort.

Do I need a snowmobile license?

Yes. A valid driving license is required to drive a snowmobile. Non-drivers and children can ride as passengers.

Is there a height/age requirement?

Husky sledding is usually suitable for children aged 5+ (supervised by adults). Snowmobile driving requires a driving license (for adults). Children can participate as passengers.

What happens if there isn’t enough snow?

In rare circumstances with low snow cover, the snowmobile portion might be altered. Guides will ensure that you still have a safe and fun experience.
