Snowmobile, Ice Fishing & Reindeer Experience

Your experience begins at our Safari House in Rovaniemi, where your guide welcomes you, provides full winter equipment and gives a safety briefing and instructions for driving the snowmobiles. After gearing up, we head out on a snowmobile safari through snow-covered forests, frozen lakes and beautiful Arctic landscapes. The safari includes approximately 1–1.5 hours of snowmobile riding in total. Each snowmobile is normally shared by two adults, with the opportunity to switch drivers during the experience. During the safari, we stop on a frozen lake for a 30–45 minute guided ice fishing experience. Your guide will explain the basics of traditional Finnish ice fishing and show you how the equipment is used. You can then try fishing through the ice yourself while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Please note that catching a fish cannot be guaranteed. After ice fishing, we continue the snowmobile journey before returning to the Safari House. There, you can warm up and enjoy a hot BBQ lunch. After lunch, visit our private reindeer enclosure, where you can meet the reindeer up close, feed them and take memorable photos.

This experience combines snowmobiling, ice fishing, a hot BBQ lunch and a reindeer encounter in one easy half-day adventure — a great way to experience several Lapland highlights in a single tour.

• A guide, dressed with the company name on it and arriving by car with the company logo, will pick you up from the location you provide. You can select your hotel from the list during booking, or provide an exact address after completing your reservation.

Twin Driving

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 0% if booking is cancelled 1000 days or less before the event

Solo Driving

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 0% if booking is cancelled 999 days or less before the event
