Escape the city and discover one of Lapland’s most authentic traditions with a visit to a local reindeer farm just 15 minutes from Rovaniemi.
After a short transfer, you’ll arrive at a peaceful family-run reindeer farm, where you’ll meet these gentle Arctic animals up close. Learn about their importance to Lapland’s culture and way of life before feeding the reindeer and taking memorable photos.
Next, enjoy a traditional reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy surroundings. After the ride, you’ll receive your own Reindeer Driving Licence, a fun keepsake to remember your Lapland adventure.
To finish the experience, step inside to warm up with freshly brewed coffee and local pastries while listening to fascinating stories about reindeer herding, Arctic seasons, and everyday life in Finnish Lapland.
This relaxed and family-friendly experience is perfect for couples, families, and first-time visitors looking for a genuine Lapland experience without spending the whole day outdoors.
Please dress warmly for outdoor conditions. The reindeer sleigh ride is a traditional short ride and is subject to weather and snow conditions. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure.
Please wear comfortable winter clothing suitable for Arctic conditions. We recommend bringing a warm hat, gloves, insulated winter boots and your camera or smartphone. Thermal clothing is available if needed.
Discover how we've helped travelers from around the globe create magical memories that last a lifetime.

Jeremias and Erwin were absolutely amazing!! We saw a fantastic green Aurora (it even danced) on a night with very low probability and lots of cloud cover. Fantastic photos, fire and drink and snacks. We only managed to see such an amazing Aurora due to Jepa’s and Erwin’s dedication...

Nature was a bit tough on us — we only caught a brief glimpse of the Aurora after four hours. But huge kudos to the team for their patience and dedication. They made sure everyone was comfortable and still delivered a great experience overall. You won’t regret going with this company...

Sofia led us on the sleigh combo outing. She was very friendly and provided a lot of information on life in Finland. The reindeer sleigh experience was interesting but was not ‘dashing through the snow’. Reindeer were led by walking leads for about 2km, and the guide at the farm shared info on reindeer life and care...

The first tour was cancelled due to the weather, but we were rebooked at no extra expense for the next day. Tour departed on time and, as we were warned, we had to drive a couple of hours north to get away from the cloud. Our driver guide Sofian was engaging and helpful. He also had access to data which helped him predict...
